No fruits in winter? What about oranges!
What I most love about winter are oranges. They have very high water content and are rich in vitamins and minerals. It’s important to stay hydrated also in wintertime.
Make sure they are heavy for their size and have a rich orange colour to ensure they are ripe and sweet.
For optimal digestion they are best eaten or juiced on their own, with other acidic fruits like grapefruit or mandarins. You can also mix them with sub-acidic fruits like apples.
