I can't eat raw foods, I immediately get stomach issues
This problem is often caused by what has been in the stomach or bowl earlier and creates a blockade for the easy to digest fruits or leafy greens, which causes fermentation.
Another reason could be, that the fruits and vegetables weren't ripe. It's very important that what we are taking in is really ripe. When they aren't ripe they can contain substances, that are indigestible for humans (like with tomatoes for example) or fruit can contain a lot of starch instead of sugar (just like with the banana). Bananas are ripe when they get black spots. Moreover, green bell peppers are unripe (that's why they are often cheaper). Red bell peppers are ripe and sweet.
An important role also plays the combination of fruits and vegetables in our meals. The simpler the meal the better. Optimal for our body are meals with only one ingredient, the so-called "mono-meal". Then the stomach can concentrate on this one ingredient during digestion. Simplicity in the meal, variety throughout the year. We don't need all nutrients in every meal, our body can store them for a long time.
