Pear
Pears are sweet and can be stored in a cool cellar very well.
Ripening instructions
Pears should be harvested when they're ripe, when they can be removed from the branch through a slight twist or have already fallen down. You can ripen them a little most of the time when you stored them in a warm place. Then they become softer and sweeter.
Ripening indicators
When they really smell like pears, they are ripe most of the time.
Season
We harvested them in fall, and because they can be stored quite well they are also available in winter.
